Jeanne is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Diabetes Educator. Her areas of specialty are heart disease, weight loss and of course, diabetes. She is on the speaker’s bureau for Novo Nordisk, Novartis and Bayer Diagnostics, a member of the American Dietetic Association, the American Association of Diabetic Educators, a former board member of the North Carolina Dietetic Association and a former two-term President of the Foothills District Dietetic Association. Jeanne ran a successful weight loss program for over 5 years before turning her attention to diabetes and helping the diabetes program get recognition from the ADA. Before moving to Florida the end of 2005, Jeanne ran her own consulting practice, The Nutrition Connection. Before becoming a registered dietitian Jeanne owned and operated a Jazzercise franchise. It was her love of exercise and good health that led her to dietetics.
